Mr. A V Amarnath appointed as Chief Operating Officer, Essar Projects Limited. He will assume charge with immediate effect along with his current role as the CEO of Essar Constructions India Ltd. In a career spanning 37 years, Mr. Amarnath has been a cornerstone in Essar Projects’ successful execution of EPC projects like the Vadinar Refinery, Gujarat Pipelines, Essar Steel Expansion, JSW Blast Furnace and Hazira Power Plant Projects, to name a few.
Mr. Vishnudutt Mutha appointed as Finance Controller, Essar Projects Limited. This will be along with his existing role as the Finance Controller of Essar Power Limited. Vishnu has over 25 years’ expertise in the Finance & Accounts domain and has previously led a key position in Essar Oil Limited since 1997. He is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (1996) and he has completed his Graduation in Commerce from Jai Narain Vyas University (1990).
Mr. Harbinder Saini appointed as Head Human Resources, Essar Projects Limited. He will take over this responsibility with immediate effect. He has been associated with Essar for the last 23 years. He joined Essar as Officer Trainee and since then he has held several critical roles within Essar. In his last role, Harbinder was heading Human Resources for Essar Ports Limited. He has done his Masters in Social Work and Graduation in Industrial Psychology from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
Mr. Sanjay Mandavkar has been appointed as Interim Head – Finance and Banking. He comes with over 22 years of experience in the field of fund raising, lending, structured Finance and advisory in Banks and Large Corporates. In past he has worked with organisations like YES Bank, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries Ltd, Reliance Commercial Finance, Larsen & Toubro Ltd and CARE Ratings. Mr. Mandavkar is a Mechanical Engineer from VJTI and MMS Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
