Essar Foundation conducts vaccination drive at Sasmira Institute

The key focus of the initiative was to vaccinate family members of Mumbai Police

In line with our goal to help the nation fight the pandemic, Essar Foundation conducted yet another successful vaccination drive in the heart of Mumbai.

The drive was conducted at Sasmira Institute at Worli and the medics attended to people from all walks of life. The drive was scheduled so as to provide second doses to the beneficiaries who had received their first doses through our earlier drives in the region.

A key focus group was the family members of Mumbai police personnel who have played a key role in our fight against the pandemic. A total of 255 people were vaccinated with Covidshield Vaccine; most of the beneficiaries received their second dose, thus becoming fully vaccinated.

Dignitaries Mr Kohli (Senior Inspector) and Mr Sanjay Mashilkar paid a visit to the vaccine centre and commended our arrangements. This drive is a part of series of vaccination drives planned by Essar Foundation over the course of the year to improve healthcare and to fight the pandemic by improving the immunity of our community. Community Healthcare is a core focus of Essar Foundation and we have worked to provide a positive impact on health of our fellow citizens in light of the devastating pandemic.
