Asad Lalljee moderates a panel discussion on Culture & Creative Economics at Virasat hosted by FICCI India

Asad Lalljee, CEO of Avid Learning, moderated a panel discussion on Culture and Creative Economics at Virasat – Celebrating Indigenous Arts & Roadmap for Creative Economy on November 14, 2022 by FICCI India.

The discussion looked at the use of industry 4.0 technologies that has opened up new opportunities for the creative economy. Harnessing the economic potential of the Indigenous arts sector is key to developing employment, building infrastructure, preserving heritage and taking it to global platforms. The panellists further discussed how Arts must be seen as a tool for Tourism and Economic Development and for this to happen we need to focus on key areas which include desired changes in policy and revoking at the multiplicity of rules and regulations that make this industry difficult to navigate.
