Essar Steel’s Vizag Pellet Plant bagged Gold in metal & mining sector in the 16th Annual Greentech Safety Award, 2017.
Mr DVCS Varma, GM – Pellet Plant, received the award from Mr Aveesh Singh, Director General – DGFASLI, Govt. of India, at an event held in Goa.
Essar Steel was recognized for developing and implementing effective management of Occupational, Health and Safety systems. Dedicated efforts and commitment by the team and concerned contractors along with various initiatives undertaken by Safety Department was key in achieving such significant milestone.
