Essar Ports bags award for its CSR initiatives

Seatrade Maritime hosted the 16th Maritime Awards Middle East, Indian Subcontinent & Africa on 22 September 2019.

Essar Ports Ltd. won the award for its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. Being a responsible corporate committed to making a positive social impact, Essar Ports has been actively working towards improving education, environment, health care and livelihood for the community. The award was received by Captain Sukhdev Singh Bhamra on behalf of Essar Ports Ltd.

Taking place on the first evening of UAE Maritime Week, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, and the Chairman of the Executive Council, the awards ceremony is a highlight in the shipping awards calendar. The ceremony recognises individuals and organisations that have made noteworthy impact on the market over the course of the past year.
