A Derrick Lay Barge is one of the key vessels used for pipe laying in offshore construction. Essar’s Nand Gaurav is among the few state-of-the-art Derrick Lay Barges in the world today. Apart from the capability to operate on high seas and at water depths of 120 metres, it can also accommodate up to 300 persons on board comfortably.
